Meerkat is a two-year-old lab type mix who weighs 40 pounds and loves to stand on her back legs. The SPCA said Meerkat is an affectionate girl with lots of energy who loves the outdoors. Meerkat loves playing with other dogs and would be a good fit for kids older than 10. She would prefer not to live with cats.
Meerkat has kidney insufficiency, which requires medical attention. She is on a low protein diet, takes medication, and needs to receive fluids on a regular basis. All of Meerkat's medical care will be provided by the SPCA at its clinic and the staff will teach her new family how to give her the fluids she needs.
